Who we are

Driver’s License Assistance and Recovery (DLAR) is a nonprofit organization committed to restoring hope, mobility, and opportunity for individuals whose lives have been disrupted by driver’s license suspensions or legal barriers. We understand that a suspended license can mean lost jobs, missed medical appointments, and fewer chances to care for yourself or your family.

We’re here to change that.

Through legal consultations, education, payment assistance, and personalized support, DLAR helps individuals navigate the complex path to license recovery — and empowers them to move forward with confidence and dignity.

What We Stand For

We believe that a license is more than a piece of plastic — it’s a pathway to freedom, independence, and stability. DLAR stands for:

  • Equity – Everyone deserves a fair chance to recover and rebuild.

  • Access – No one should be left behind due to financial or systemic barriers.

  • Empowerment – We provide tools, resources, and guidance to help people take back control of their lives.

  • Community Impact – We know that helping one person can uplift entire families and communities.

Whether you're seeking help or looking to support our mission, DLAR is here to drive change — together.
